Our Team

Carmen A. Cortés Ramos is the Founder and Principal Member of Legal Project Management, Partners, LLC.  She holds a Legal Project Practitioner Certification from the International Institute of Legal Project Management.  Her knowledge in the project management, regulatory field, and legal expertise, has contributed to different leading organizations, in and out  of Puerto Rico, in various industries including: pharmaceuticals, drug distribution, medical plans, service companies and non-profit organizations, to achieve their goals.

She has vast experience in management consulting, which includes management of legal and regulatory projects, legal advice, and regulatory compliance matters, development of policies and procedures, and investigations, among others.   Cortes served as regulatory and legal advisor, a consulting firm with multiple services divisions that included: validation, quality and regulatory services; calibration and validation services to instruments and equipment; and a testing laboratory. She led the efforts to achieve the ISO 9001 certification for one of the business units, and was responsible for establishing its Quality Assurance Program, and participated in various Quality Departments’ audits. 

Among her legal experience, Cortes worked in cases related to FDA Consent Decrees to pharmaceutical companies where she participated reviewing evidence and preparing witnesses for Grand Jury. 

Ms. Cortes is also an Adjunct Professor for the Legal Externship Semester Courses at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law, since 2013, and she directed the School’s Professional Development Office for two years.  She is admitted to the Puerto Rico State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico.

Ninotchka Rojas is Administration and Project Manager. Ms. Rojas has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Puerto Rico and a Project Management Master’s Degree in process. Ms. Rojas has over 12 years’ experience in administration, coordination, strategic direction, business management, and human resources. She has directly worked with Executives at public and private companies, as well as non-profit organizations. Ms. Rojas also has vast experience assisting legal professionals and executive personnel in projects coordination and management. Ninotchka also has a Social Media Manager Certification and experience developing, implementing and monitoring marketing plans, especially in the digital marketing area.

Engineer Colón is Project Manager and Business Executive, licensed Engineer (PE) with over 20 years’ experience.  Eng. Colón has provided technical and project management services for Pharmaceuticals, Communications, Federal Government Facilities, and Industrial Clients. Among his professional experience, he has worked on Process Engineering, Electrical Design, Radio Frequency engineering, PV design, Infrastructure; having collaborated in projects such as the Panama Canal electrical distribution systems, FAA navigation systems, Electrical Utilities expansions at a Johson & Johnson manufacturing facility, numerous engineering projects during pharmaceutical manufacturing shutdowns, disaster readiness support to communities projects, inspector in record for infrastructure projects for Bacardí, Punta Limas Wind Farm and commercial clients. Eng. Colon experience includes Design, Quality Assurance audits and remediation plans implementation for clients such as Amgen,  and BMS.

Professional Engineer and Attorney at Law with extensive experience in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance in the Life Sciences Industry. Rosa has more than 20 years of experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Experience in the successful handling of FDA inspections. She works with a disciplined approach through strategic planning which allows for excellent results. As QA and RC Manager, she achieved successful results in Compliance Risk Mitigation and Operational Strategies to reduce backorders through improved systems and processes. Practical experience in quality engineering, supplier quality, regulatory compliance, regulatory audits, technical training. Proven problem-solving capabilities. Experience in technical and legal writing. She works as Judge of the CIAPR Ethics and Professional Discipline Court, which deals with administrative evidentiary hearings.  She has certifications such as Manager of Quality and Organizational Excellence (CMQ / OE), Empowerment Life Coach, 6σ Green Belt & Lean Manufacturing Training.
